subtle happiness IV: ordinary scents

•  Locals burning excess brush in their gardens
•  Eucalyptus trees
•  Freshly baked bread, or any freshly baked baked-good
•  Lavender plants
• .Clean dogs (I’m referring to the way my dogs smell when they are clean, not the shampoo smell on them after a bath)
•  Campfire
• . Freshly brewed coffee
•  Warm laundry right from the dryer or the scent of dryer vents in winter
•  Fresh cut grass
•  Nice smelling guy smell
•  Oil pastels
•  Citrus fruits
• .Faint scent of ocean in the wind
•  The smell of sautéed onions and garlic
•  Bacon, it reminds me of mornings when I woke up at my grandma’s
• .That time of year when lilacs are in bloom
•  The scent of autumn, when the air is crisp and you can feel summer is really over
• .The fresh air after rain
