image progression: don’t trust the neighbourhood watch

I am exceedingly grateful to be creating a lot of commissioned pieces lately.  While I love the challenge of making artwork to capture the distinct style, personality, story, etc. of my client–I have found it is also important to take a little time to simply play with art. Therefore, as a way of clearing my head (and using up extra bits of scrap papers), I’ve started several of these smaller collages.  They don’t take a lot of time, but they get me in a more intuitive creative mindset–which helps me in my more thoughtful commissioned works.
