365 good days: #363

I love the genuine nature of rural life on Terceira.  My husband and I are driving, and then we find ourselves among a heard of cattle, slowly shuffling from one field to another.  I find it amusing every time (which is usually at least once every month or so).  They almost seem to know exactly where they are going, as if out of routine.  (Although, every now and then, you will see the rebellious stray cow, who doesn’t like to play by the rules laid out by the man!  That cow will usually be up on someone’s law gnawing away at a bush.  It is adorable.)

Cows behind us.
Cows behind us.
Cows next to us.
Cows next to us.
Cows on the road.
Cows on the road.
Cows in front of us.
Cows in front of us.
