This was a large piece commissioned by the husband of a friend of mine as a gift for Valentine's day. Since she was involved in the conceptual development process for the work, the gift wasn't exactly a surprise. However, that didn't make it any less meaningful.
This was a quirky little piece I recently made for a client. The home states of both he and his wife were included as well as visual elements associated with their shared memories such as their first date.
This is a commissioned work I recently finished. My client wanted a gift for a close friend. Her friend wasn't a stereotypical girly-girl, therefore I tried a different color palette. I wanted this work to have an elegant, playful atmosphere while maintaining a subtle femininity.
